I guess this related to the whole saggy diaper gas tank that might explode if you get rear ended. I was told many months ago that I wasn’t owed a card because my Jeep came with a factory trailer hitch.
But to activate the card you needed the last 6 digits of the VIN. Got those numbers off the WJ and next thing you know I'm $100 richer.

I know if you sign up for a MINI credit card when you buy your car they will actually put an exact copy of your car on the card when it comes in based on the VIN.
